Welcome to to Professor Hart's History of Hogwarts course! As most of you know, this is one of the more elite course which was added to the Hogwarts curriculum after the age of the creature revolution. Throughout the course of this class, you will learn all about the roots of Hogwarts' past. This class is offered for years 1-7 so, be prepared to learn more than you'd ever imagine about Hogwarts.
In regards to homework, testing, and quizzes...
Yes, there will be homework, testing, and quizzing. I expect all student to turn in work on time and complete. If you need to turn something in late, you must contact me via PM or post. Late work will not be given credit unless you have given your leave of absence in advance.
In regards to house points...
House points will be given both for in class activities and written work. I give out a lot of points so, do exceptional work and you will get exceptional points.
In regards to in class activities...
I will be doing in class rp's. This means that students are expected to show up an participate. If you come in late, you will receive a tardy and have five house points taken. You are considered to be late if the thread moves to three or more pages into the thread.
In regards to late sign-ups...
Students often join a class after it's already begun. I will expect you to catch up on the work you have missed. You are not required to post in old activities threads, but are required to participate in any new activities threads.
In regards to trouble...
I will not tolerate trouble within my classroom. If there are any pranks, arguments, or other mischievous acts, students will have 20 house points taken and will receive a detention with me. Trust me, my detentions have a reputation as the worst.
