Silence irritated her in the library while the common room was too loud and gave her a headache. Perfect, the annoyed Grace thought while she did her still uncompleted homework. Hopefully there was at least some distraction for her. Nothing satisfied her this fine chilly evening, and so she wondered what her siblings were doing right now. The relationship between the three of them fell apart and thinking about it didn't make her feel any better. It would be a miracle if some random person came in the library to chat with her.
She finally dropped her quill on the desk and layed her heard on her crossed arms and yawned. Grace could hear her watch ticking slowly and was too lazy to even check the time. Somehow she had to finish her homework otherwise she'd be doomed the next day. And it would so help if there was something sweet she could eat to make herself all hyper. Finally getting some of the energy back she raised her head up and checked the time, exactly 12:00 am already.

Marl's converse clad feet made a light tap sound as she skipped down the empty halls of Hogwarts. She was bored out of her mind. See, that night, she and Les had stayed up till 11:00 PM playing a prank on Professor Hart. It didn't go over very well, but Marl never let that bring her down. She up past her hours and she felt exceptionally giggly. She took to spinning down the halls like some wild dancer. Her long, light blue skirt fanned out around her in graceful ripples as she spun round and round. Her arms flailed about her sides as she went, spinning her way through life.
And then, as suddenly as she'd begun spinning, she stopped dead. She stared at the massive library doors in front of her. She placed her cool palm against the handle and gave a light tug. It opened easily, an obvious sign that her circles were leading her there. Marl stepped inside the book dwelling place and looked around. A smile made its way to her lips faster than anyone could have imagined and Marl rushed up the hall of books. She looked around. No one was in sight. This was definitely her night!
She placed one foot against the bookshelf and then hoisted herself up. She then found herself atop one of the bookshelves. Marl's big blue eyes dared the world to tell her to get down. She let out a loud giggle and then looked down at one of the tables below. There was Grace! What in Heaven's name was Grace Filiti doing in the library at this hour?! Marl smiled and then looked down at her. She hung her legs over the side of the shelf so that she was sitting, just the same as she would in a chair. "Gracie! Did you know it's past midnight?" She asked with a huge grin. She knew Grace would never 'tell on Marl.' That made the night even more exciting.

A smile played on Grace's lips and she looked up at Marl. "I know and im sitting here doing icky homework instead of doing some fun." And by "fun" it had always meant to Marl and Grace by doing mischief. She got up and climbed on the very same shelf Marl was sitting on and just like her, Grace sat on the bookshelf right beside her. "So Marly what were you up to? I know you did something interesting, as usual. It would be a surprise to me if you didn't." She giggled, Marl's adventures always amused her no matter what.
"But really it's always amazing how you arrive when im bored. You are like a mind-reader or something." When Grace had came across the mind-reading bit, she right away thought of her great grandfather, her parents and her grandparents always told stories about her great grandparents, Serenity and Hayden Logan. She loved it when her family would say, "you are so much like them, if you only knew!" And she was inspired by them, their romance was the sweetest thing that a girl like her could want.
"Hmmm Marly, im thinking.... we didn't do pranks for so long..... maybe we can do one now?" She whispered, she didn't want the librarian, where ever she was to hear them. Truthfully they did pranks only the day before, and it still felt like ages to her. Her eyes scanned the library, trying to think of a plan... "You know, somebody should create a book of pranks one day that would ease me when im bored, but I bet the caretaker wouldn't want it here in the first place." Grace was extremely talkative to Marl and always had something to say to her.
